Seder Dinners
Every year on Good Friday we gather in Table Communities and small groups to practice the Seder Meal. A Seder meal is a traditional, symbolic meal celebrated during Passover. It involves the retelling of the story of the Israelites' Exodus from slavery in Egypt, along with specific foods, songs, and prayers. The word "Seder" itself means "order" in Hebrew, reflecting the structured format of the meal.

Join us for our Open House where we gather as a community outside of the Sunday Space for a meal. One of our key values is to do life around the table just as Jesus did with His disciples, so on a regular basis we want to set aside time to intentionally sit down together. Whether you have called Genesis home for years or are just joining us, this is a great space to get to know people and share stories.
We will eat together right after the gathering on Sunday at MCS. Hope to see you there.

Note: Please park at The Brand Amp (1945 Placentia Ave) — just a 30-second walk. Kindly avoid the MoonGoat parking lot.

24hr Prayer
We want to invite you to our 24hr of prayer. Over the years we have loved to see the evolution of this and see how the Lord has shown up in wonderful ways. Join us to pray into: the nations, our city, our church community, and anything else the Lord leads us into.
Sign up for an hour time slot. You will arrive at your allotted time. Please do not leave until the next person has arrived. We encourage you to go in groups. We will gather as a whole community for worship, prayer and communion to end our time together on Saturday 1/17 from 4-5 pm. No need to sign up for that time slot.

We will gather at the Dooley’s home to slow down and share a Friendsgiving style meal on Friday November 14th at 6:30 pm.
